1/72 scale. Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 Standard Wings Weekend Edition. Eduard. First flying in 1939, the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 proved to be an immediate threat to RAF fighters when introduced in late 1941, being faster and more maneuverable than the Spitfire V then in service. Kit features engraved panel lines, well-appointed cockpit, BMW 801 radial engine, separate trailing edge flaps, optional position undercarriage, detailed wheel bay, single-piece propeller with separate spinner, wing and cowling machine guns, centerline drop tank and bomb, optional position canopy. Decals and color markings for two (2) aircraft: 2./JG 54, Lt. Hans Dortenmann, Villacoublay, France, June, 1944 and W. Nr. 350 189, 12./JG 5, Herdla Airfield, Norway, 1945 - includes stencil data, instrument panel and consoles.
